What percentage of clients at Shifts to Success are Successful?

This was a question that I was asked at one of our recent Success QuickStart Days and it’s a fantastic question! You will see and hear many success stories and it would be only natural for you think, “Will this work for me?”

I thought it would be a good idea to share the answer I gave to those in the room.

Firstly, how do you define success?

We have clients who have gone on to build six-figure businesses and resign from the police.  We have also clients who are building businesses at a slower rate due to being a single parent and working full time.

We have clients securing their first sales at £1,000, eight months into their journey.  We also have clients securing their first sales at £5,500 in two months into their journey.

We have clients who have become pregnant, slowed down business activity and we have clients who are growing a £50,000+ business with two challenging children whilst being a single parent.

In all those examples, I would class them as they are all moving forward and progressing, despite some financial results being better than others.

The point is, our clients have personal responsibilities they have to attend to at times, such as family deaths, divorces and the job.  Because of this, we cannot determine what results they will get and when.

Why? Because the bottom line is that they must do the work and put in the effort. We do not do the work in their business for them.

We give them support, direction, accountability, the correct insights, and steps, but ultimately their success is in their hands.

Secondly, what industry are you going in to?

As we are a business training company we have many clients who are building and scaling businesses in all different types of industries, such as:

  • Events
  • Dog Training
  • Travel
  • Photography
  • Coaching
  • Clothing
  • Furniture
  • Food
  • Property lettings
  • Landscaping
  • Investigations
  • Digital Marketing
  • Mental Health and wellbeing

And many more!

Each industry will have different sales cycles. For example, selling a Dog Training Package (B2C) could take 3 weeks to gain a sale. Whereas selling an investigation training package (B2B) could take 8 weeks.

With this being said, how do you define success or put a percentage on how many clients are successful?

Business is not a race.  It’s better to go slow in the right direction than fast in the wrong direction.

At Shifts to Success, we also have selection criteria…

  1.  You must work at least 1 hour a day on your business or at least 7 hours a week. (This allows you to build momentum).
  2. You must commit to your accountability calls and GSD tasks.
  3. You must watch and take action on all modules on the portal.

This allows us to qualify clients in and potential clients out. If you cannot commit to those things, then Shifts to Success is not for you and business is not for you.

If you are not going to put in the work to build or scale your business and achieve your dreams, we would much rather you spend your money elsewhere.

YOUR success will not fall in your lap. Applying the insights you’ll gain is a must.

So, to answer your question:

The percentage of clients who are successful is subjective because we cannot control the actions our clients take and how they take them. Not to mention personal things that can happen in individuals lives.

However, if you were to ask…

“How many of your clients, are happier knowing they are a part of the Shifts to Success Cohort family and have the right support and guidance?

I would confidently say 100%.
